Lucky Strike Property

The Lucky Strike property covers 24,951 hectares and has logging road access. It is only 3 kilometres to a major highway and 40 kilometres north of major infrastructure in Terrace BC. The property is located south of Golden Triangle area, and resides within the Skeena Arch, a belt-scale structural corridor associated with significant porphyry and related mineralization.

To the south, Lucky Strike encompasses the Black Wolf property that had historical production in 1928 (see BC MINFILE No. 103I030) from high grade polymetallic veins (Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au). The property also contains a historic polymetallic porphyry vein showing grades of up to 8.8 grams per tonne gold, 2.14 grams per tonne silver and 3.4% copper.

The Prosperity Zone – Central Porphyry Drill Target 2500 x 1500 x 500 Metres

The newly discovered Prosperity Zone measures 2.4 kilometres wide and 3.4 long. It is situated at the headwaters of two most prolific placer creeks in the area that have reported gold production 1886 – 1940 as well as coarse nuggets of over 6 ounces gold (see BC MINFILE No. 103I204, 103I050 and 103I207). The source of the placer gold is believed to be attributed to erosion of gold mineralized bedrock from the immediate area. Geophysics and outcrop indicate porphyry under the Prosperity Zone. This discovery was made where bedrock has been exposed due to the receding snowpack. This zone is drill ready for an inaugural drill program in 2018.

The combined soil dataset shows an anomalous region of gold-copper-molybdenum measuring 2000 by 400 metres (see Prosperity Maps below). This zone has three areas that returned overlapping regions of higher values with accompanying anomalous bismuth-tungsten-antimony (up to 7.27 g/t Au; 557 ppm Cu; 65 ppm Mo; 50 ppm W; 4 ppm Sb; and 10 ppm Bi).

Coincident with the soil anomaly, a SkyTEM electromagnetic survey found concentric conductive zones flanking a magnetic high (link to 3D model) extending over a large area measuring 2500 x 1500 x 500 metres that remains open to depth. Together these indicate the presence of a porphyry, below a gold-copper-molybdenum soil anomaly at Prosperity. This soil anomaly has a geochemical signature consistent with some porphyry systems and is coincident with the SkyTEM electromagnetic anomaly.

Gold Source Zone

A 2017 angular talus sample of a hydrothermal breccia assayed 96.8 grams per tonne gold (3.1 ounces per tonne gold), this sample was taken 65 metres downslope from the newly discovered Gold Source Zone of outcropping hydrothermal breccia (link to images). The Gold Source Zone is an epithermal, milky quartz hydrothermal breccia and sheeted vein corridors extend more than 400 metres along an E-W trend and over 200 metres wide and remains open. The trend is highly oxidized with primary sulphide contents ranging typically between 1-5% that are now represented by limonitic voids and boxworks (link to video). The recently acquired airborne magnetic data identified a circular feature centered around the Gold Source Zone hydrothermal breccia. The diameter of the circular feature is approximately 1 kilometer and it is located at the confluence of several NE-SW trending magnetic lineaments. Channel sampling, prospecting, and mapping remains ongoing in this area to trace the full extent of the zone in preparation for drilling in 2018.

Hole in One Zone

The new Hole in One Zone is located 9 kilometres west of the Gold Source Zone, in the southwest end of the property. The area contains quartz vein swarms with galena and chalcopyrite mineralization have been observed in outcrop (link to video). Additional prospecting and mapping are underway to trace out the full extent and significance of this new zone; assays are pending.

The Kingpin Zone

The Kingpin zone is a 830 by 130 metre area, defined by samples containing polymetallic and gold mineralized in bedrock (see Kingpin Maps below). The zone remains open in all directions. Mineralization is hosted in sheared metasedimentary rocks, massive sulphide veins, and quartz stockworks. A two-man team in 2017 spent a total of two days prospecting and sampling in this area. The majority of the terrain remains unexplored. Large areas of outcrop in the Kingpin area have recently been exposed due to ongoing rapid glacial and snowpack recession providing excellent potential to expand the zone of known mineralization.

2017 sample results from Kingpin include:

Channel Cut Over 1 Metre
– 1.66 gpt AuEq (incl. 4.47 gpt Gold, 22.2 gpt Silver, 1.89% Zinc and 0.2% Lead

Chip over 1 Metre
– 17.55 gpt AuEq (incl. 14.6 gpt Gold, 118 gpt Silver, 0.66% Zinc and 1.4% Lead

Grab from bedrock
– 7.03 gpt AuEq (incl. 2.88 gpt Gold, 83 gpt Silver, 1.61% Zinc and 2.81% Lead

An aerial view of the Kingpin Zone can be seen in the Lucky Strike 2017 video gallery below.

Copperhead

The Copperhead property covers 4,354 hectares and 6 kilometres to the nearest road and power-line. It is located 35 kilometres southwest of from Smithers BC and situated south of the Golden Triangle area. It resides within the Skeena Arch; a belt-scale structural corridor associated with significant porphyry and related mineralization.

The newly discovered and sampled Copper King Trend measures 2 kilometres long x 350 metres wide and remains open. This discovery was made where bedrock has been exposed due to recent glacial abatement.

In the northern region of the Copper King Trend, 2016 bedrock samples from a 15 cm wide massive chalcopyrite-pyrite vein returned bedrock assays up to 13.8 percent copper, 228 grams per tonne silver (8 ounces per ton) and 0.75 grams per tonne gold. Adjacent massive chalcopyrite-pyrite replaces the tuffaceous matrix in flat laying coarse grained volcanoclastic horizon from which assays have returned up to 4.6 percent copper and 80 grams per tonne silver. 80 percent of the samples assayed over 0.1 percent copper, and 48 percent returned over 1.0 percent copper.

In 2017 an 11 metre chip sample taken from a volcanic breccia containing massive and semi-massive sulphides returned 0.17 g/t Au, 4.28 % Cu, and 45.41 g/t Ag. The chip sample started and ended in mineralization that remains open. The orientation of the breccia zone is not known and thus the true thickness of the mineralized zone remains to be determined. As well an 8 metre chip sample returned 0.08 g/t Au, 1.57 % Cu, and 12.45 g/t Ag. True thickness of the mineralized zone remains to be determined. Both chip samples started and ended in mineralization that remains open.

The Copper King Trend runs parallel to a major regional fault zone and along the structure are three separate granitic intrusions. The intrusive units range from a very oxidized altered granodiorite with associated quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration halo to a quartz diorite with potassic alteration. Mineralization occurs as massive chalcopyrite-bornite-pyrite in veins and as matrix replacement in volcaniclastic horizons. Chalcopyrite with lesser pyrite and bornite was discovered in quartz veins along or proximal to faults or within potassic and quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration zones. Veins are likely high grade feeders to more extensive stratiform replacement mineralization.

Towards the central region of the Copper King Trend extensive potassic alteration and silicification occurs in volcaniclastic rocks. Throughout the altered zone chalcopyrite forms globules, fills fractures and forms veins with bornite. 2016 assays from the zone have returned up to 7.97 percent copper, 165 parts per billion Au and 28.3 grams per tonne silver and the zone remains open. Intense potassic alteration and silicification is most likely related to an intrusion at depth; large granitic stocks occur along trend to the north and south. To the south, granodiorite is strongly oxidized and has a peripheral quartz-sericitepyrite alteration zone. The extensive gossan displays intense jarosite staining with minor malachite and locally contains chalcopyrite-pyrite-quartz stockworks which have yielded bedrock values up to 2.87 percent copper and 139 grams per tonne silver over 0.5 meter.

Link to Property Summary Model – Click Here

Normal faulting is common through the property; mineralized faults are strongly oxidized and limonitic with malachite along fractures forming zones up to 2m wide. in 2016, a one meter chip sample across a faulted contact with remnant massive chalcopyrite-pyrite in a limonitic breccia towards the south end of the Copper King Trend returned 7.87 percent copper, 116 grams per tonne silver and 336 parts per billion gold. Within mafic lithologies quartz-chalcopyrite-galena-pyrite veins have been observed near contacts and in shears with epidotized wallrock and malachite staining, assays have returned up to 3.48 percent copper and 114 grams per tonne silver. Mineralizing fluids more than likely originated from intrusive activity localized along the prominent regional structure.

Within the regional fault zone are paralleling and echelon structures; this offers a zone of weakness and dilation for the intruding granitic units and provides transport for migrating mineralizing fluids. Mineralizing fluids generated through the repeated intrusive activity vary in composition and chemistry with the degree of wall-rock interaction and proximity to a migrating intrusion.

Geochemically, a majority of samples display elevated As, Bi, Co,Mn, Mo, Pb, Sb and Zn signatures. The gently dipping succession of mafic to felsic volcanic rocks are interbedded with porous and permeable tuffaceous ignimbrites and volcaniclastic units that offer suitable sites for wide spread replacement mineralization.

Bingo

The Bingo property covers 989 Hectares and is only 10 kilometres from the historic Anyox historic mining camp, smelter and power dam located in the Golden Triangle.

Based on regional mapping, the Bingo property is underlain by Lower Hazelton group volcanic rocks that are in the same stratigraphic unit that hosts Auryn Resources Inc’s Homestake Ridge deposit and Pretium Resources Inc.’s Brucejack deposit. Additionally, the property is located proximal to the unconformity between the Hazelton and Stuhini Group rocks, also known as the “Red Line”, a geological boundary proximal to where many world class deposits are found within the Golden Triangle.

Initial geological observations have confirmed a tremendous untapped potential of this underexplored property. In addition to proximity to the “Red Line”, inter-fingered bimodal volcanics were also observed on the eastern side of the property, similar in appearance to the Iskut River Formation, which hosts the high-grade Eskay Creek deposit.

The Bingo Discovery Trend discovery made in 2016 is more than 1 km long and up to 140 metres wide and remains open. This discovery was made where bedrock has been exposed due to receding snow-pack.

The main Bingo discovery zone, known as the “Main Zone”, comprises gossanous, brown-weathering biotite-rich metasedimentary rocks which dip gently to the southwest and are moderately foliated. The horizon contains chalcopyrite-pyrite-covellite bearing quartz veins up to 30 centimeters wide as well as localized disseminations of pyrite and chalcopyrite. Mapping and prospecting in 2017 expanded the known extent of quartz veins and sulphide occurrences to 420 metres long by 320 metres wide. This zone remains open. A bedrock grab sample taken in 2016 assayed up to 7.14 grams per tonne Gold and 1.6% Copper.

A total of 36 rock samples were taken in 2016 from various mineralized outcrops across the property, of which 15 samples (43%) have returned over 1 grams per ton gold up to 7.14 grams per ton, and 19 samples (54%) have returned over 0.1 percent copper up to 1.6 percent.
